Chelsea are assessing enquiries for a number of their fringe players as they look to offset their bid to sign a new centre back.
Defender Renato Veiga is attracting interest from Premier League sides Wolves and Bournemouth while midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka, who they planned to loan to Strasbourg, is a loan target for Borussia Dortmund.
Cesare Casadei has interest from the Netherlands and Germany after Torino’s £10million bid was rejected while substantial offers for Christopher Nkunku, Axel Disasi and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall may also be considered.
Crystal Palace‘s Marc Guehi, who formerly played for the club, is an option for Chelsea but is valued at £55m.
Bournemouth would have to buy Veiga if they pursued interest as they already have Kepa Arizzabalaga on loan from Chelsea.
Stuttgart, Napoli and Juventus are also monitoring Veiga, who cost Chelsea £12m from Basel in the summer.
Chelsea could consider enquiries for a number of their players, including Christopher Nkunku

Chelsea have told suitors for Chukwuemeka his release clause is £40m but Dortmund will try a loan, knowing the 21-year-old would prefer the Bundesliga to France with Strasbourg.
As well as asking about Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford, Dortmund want Chukwuemeka to fill the void left by Donyell Malen who is due to join Aston Villa for around £20m.
Dortmund have also asked for Manchester City’s James McAtee but face competition from Bayer Leverkusen, Mainz, Red Bull Leipzig, Stuttgart and Fulham.
