Bayern Munich has made it clear to Leroy Sané that unless he picks up the slack, he’s out of a job in the summer. If the Bavarians still want to keep him, here’s what they’ve offered:
Leroy Sané is the most unlikely player to extend his contract. But if both sides were to reach an agreement, the talk is of a new 3-year deal until 2028 with around €15m gross per year including bonuses.

BFW Analysis
Back in July of last year, I wrote an opinion piece where I said Bayern should only extend Sané on a performance-based contract: lower base pay that will go up if certain criteria are met. Back then, I was still hopeful that he would improve. Fast forward five months, I just don’t see why he should still be kept. He hasn’t improved which is why I was fine with him leaving.
If he proves me wrong, then well done. If not, then his time is up.
