Borussia Mönchengladbach striker Tim Kleindienst is not cowering about the prospect of facing Bayern Munich. In fact, the Germany international is looking forward to taking on the league leader.
“You can’t have a better start after the winter break. Everyone knows it’s possible to beat Bayern. But everyone has to give 100% on the pitch. If that doesn’t happen, you won’t be able to beat Bayern. Last year I scored three goals against them. Let’s see what happens this time. Both the fans and the players are keen to trip Bayern up,” Kleindienst told Sky Sport (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
American right-back Joe Scally is also ready for the showdown with the Bavarians.
“They’re the best team, some could say in the world. In the league right now they’re at the top of the table. You have so much motivation for these games and it’s almost like you have nothing to lose. So (you’ve) just got to go out there and try to showcase yourself,” Scally told the AP (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
