According to Sky Sport journalists Kerry Hau and Torben Hoffmann (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich goalkeeper Daniel Peretz ha a timeline for his return:
Bayern are expecting Daniel Peretz to be sidelined for at least two weeks. Manuel Neuer is set to be back in goal against Gladbach on Saturday
Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany check in with some words on Neuer’s status as well (via @iMiaSanMia).
“If I didn’t know he was injured, I wouldn’t have noticed it. Of course, experience helps too, he knows how to get involved. His role doesn’t change. When he plays, he’s important, when he doesn’t play, he’s also important,” said Kompany.
Meanwhile, Hau (via @iMiaSanMia) also reported that midfielder Javier Fernández is back in training after a long spell on the sidelines due to an ankle injury. Fernández will be working out with Bayern Munich II for the time being:
Bayern’s midfield talent Javier Fernández has recovered from his long-term ankle injury and will resume training with the second team – for now – on Monday.
