According to a report from Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, Manchester City has reached a “full verbal agreement” with Eintracht Frankfurt star Omar Marmoush. Bayern Munich had been following Marmoush as well:

The 25-y/o top striker wants to move to #MCFC immediately, where he is currently the number one target.
#SGE have been informed. They expect the first offer from England by the weekend at the latest. Frankfurt is demanding €80m, as revealed today.
Plettenberg also had an update:
Eintracht Frankfurt are aware that Omar #Marmoush wants to move to Manchester City immediately.
It is well known to all – Marmoush, the player’s camp, and #SGE bosses – that he is currently #MCFC’s top priority for this position, and Pep Guardiola is eager to sign him.
Marmoush has reached a full agreement with Man City on a long-term contract. Personal terms have been agreed, as revealed. Negotiations between the clubs are set to start soon.
And another:
Eintracht Frankfurt have not yet received an official offer from Manchester City for Omar #Marmoush as of 6:24 PM CET. However, they still expect it to arrive over the weekend. #MCFC #SGE continue to demand €80m as a fixed fee.
The mood and discussions between all parties involved (Man City, Eintracht Frankfurt, and the player’s camp) have been positive and constructive so far. Marmoush wants the move but remains fully focused on Frankfurt. He is set to start against St. Pauli on Saturday.
Burkardt to Frankfurt in summer?
Eintracht Frankfurt is set to make a strong pursuit of Mainz 05 striker Jonathan Burkardt this summer, per Plettenberg:
Jonathan #Burkardt is Eintracht Frankfurt’s preferred transfer target for next summer.
Talks have already taken place regarding the 24-y/o striker. #SGE are optimistic about their chances, as they have information suggesting he does not want to move to the Premier League.
In the event of an early transfer of Omar #Marmoush to Manchester City, Frankfurt will explore whether a winter move for Burkardt is possible. However, Mainz boss Christian Heidel has already publicly ruled this out.

There have been some rumors linking Eintracht Frankfurt to Tottenham Hotspur attacker Timo Werner. Those are not true, per Plettenberg:

The 28-yo, under contract with Tottenham until the end of this season and recently in the starting XI, is currently not a topic at #SGE – even if Omar #Marmoush were to leave.
Beste to Gladbach?
Plettenberg also had news indicating that Benfica left-back/left-wing Jan-Niklas Beste could be headed to Borussia Mönchengladbach:

#SLBenfica are open to discussions, with their current asking price around €12m, either through a permanent transfer or a loan with an obligation to buy.
There is not yet a full verbal agreement between Beste and Borussia. Early stage.

Ridle Baku made the jump from VfL Wolfsburg to RB Leipzig:

BVB eyeing defender?
Plettenberg (again!) had some information on Borussia Dortmund’s interest in Sporting Lisbon’s 23-year-old center-back Gonçalo Inácio. However, it could come down to valuation — and negotiations:

#BVB consider the 23-y/o centre-back from #Sporting Lisbon very interesting and are closely monitoring his situation.
However, the current valuation of around €35m plus add-ons is too expensive for Dortmund at the moment.
Villa ups offer on Malen
Plettenberg is reporting that Borussia Dortmund is still holding out for a better offer from Aston Villa for Donyell Malen:

#AVFC‘s latest offer is now in the region of €25m.
#BVB are still demanding €30m.
BVB eyeing Schade
According to Sky Sport’s Patrick Berger, Borussia Dortmund is interesting in Brentford’s Kevin Schade:
⚫️ Excl. #BVB has Kevin Schade (23/ ) high on the list and has been interested in the winger for some time. There has been an initial exchange with the player’s side, but not yet between the clubs.
Schade feels at home in England at Brentford, and is also scoring goals there (6 goals, 3 assists). However, a return to Germany remains an attractive option for the four-time international.
But it is unlikely to be feasible. Contract until 2028, definitely not for less than € 40m. Price tag is said to be significantly higher. Brentford also does not have to sell…
