One of the biggest stories surrounding Bayern Munich at the moment is the open contract status of Alphonso Davies.
While his agent is in town to talk about his future, the Canadian is solely focused on helping Bayern Munich get off to a good start to the second half. The Bavarians play Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday to get things kicked off.
“I think it was a much easier break for most of the guys with the tight schedule we had last year. Against Gladbach, who are a good team, right after being away from playing football for 10 days, we know it’s going to be a tough game. However, we know that we have to find our rhythm as quickly as possible. But overall, we know we’re going to go into that game with the same mindset we had in every single game we played last year,” Davies told Bundesliga.com (as captured by @IMiaSanMia).
Davies figures to play a key part for Bayern Munich in the second of the season. His play this season has been a boost to what looked like it could be an iffy backline situation entering the campaign.
