Without Marcus Rashford on the pitch, Manchester United have beaten local rivals City at the Etihad, drawn with Liverpool at Anfield and knocked Arsenal out of the FA Cup at the Emirates.
The boyhood United fan who has spent his entire career at the club recently announced that he was ready for a new challenge. Clubs who can match his salary are few and far between but he has been linked with a loan move to Serie A.
With the January transfer window open, Ruben Amorim has told the press that he is unsure what the future holds for Rashford, having not selected him to play over the last month.
I don’t know. I don’t know, we’ll see. He is a player for Manchester United. We’ll see. He has to work. He has to represent this club, and he loves this club, but I have to make choices. [I] already spoke about how I make the choices. So it is what it is. So let’s continue. Let’s see the next game. And like I said, I have to make a selection.
