According to a report from Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich has told Thomas Müller that it will offer him a new contract, but the veteran could be leaning toward retirement:
Bayern have informed Thomas Müller that he would be offered a new contract if he wanted to continue. However, it currently looks more likely that Müller will retire in the summer. A decision is expected in April.
At 35-years-old, Müller has had a fairly good season. As it stands now, he does look like he still might have more to offer in a reserve role next season. However, each player knows when it is time to hang up the cleats and surely whatever decision Müller makes will come after a lot of thought.
