With so many key players involved in contract negotiations with Bayern Munich at the moment, board member for sport Max Eberl has been a busy man. When asked about the crazy amount of news breaking by the hour about some of his key players, Eberl could only lament the current state of things.
“I cannot influence what’s being reported in the media. I can only influence where we try to conduct the contracts, the discussions, the negotiations and conclude them. Everything from the outside is outside, and we will hopefully make announcements at some point,” Eberl said (via @iMiaSanMia).
Progress has reportedly been made with Jamal Musiala, Manuel Neuer, and Alphonso Davies, but Joshua Kimmich, Leroy Sané, and Thomas Müller (among others) still are wide open.
Clearly, Eberl will not be getting a break from the onslaught any time soon…
