Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer news and rumours, including Willian’s potential return to the Premier League and Luke Cundle to Championship side Millwall.
Willian is reportedly preparing for a move back to the Premier League during the winter transfer window.
The 36-year-old was most recently in England’s top flight at Fulham, where he helped Marco Silva‘s men establish themselves as part of the furniture in the division.
Willian was offered a new deal at Craven Cottage at the conclusion of last term, but instead opted to join Olympiacos on a deal for the 2024-25 campaign.
The Brazilian struggled to settle properly in Athens and has since terminated his contract with the Greek giants, meaning that he is on the market once again.
According to Football Insider, Willian has his heart set on a high-profile switch back to the Premier League before the end of the winter window.
The report claims that the former Chelsea and Arsenal star has serious interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia, where an increasing number of top players are plying their trade.
However, it is understood that Willian is not keen on a transfer to the Middle East, instead preferring a move back to the Premier League this month.
Although unnamed at this stage, there are supposedly a number of top-flight clubs in England eyeing up an ambitious swoop for free agent Willian.

Villa set to walk away from defender deal?
Elsewhere in the Premier League, it appears as if Aston Villa‘s search for a new centre-back is set to take another twist during this window.
The Villans recently parted company with Diego Carlos, who made the switch to Turkish giants Fenerbahce on a permanent deal from the Second City.
With Pau Torres sidelined with injury, Unai Emery‘s men are in desperate need of reinforcements in order to replenish their backline.
However, as per talkSPORT, Villa’s possible swoop for Loic Bade from Sevilla has taken a turn for the worst following revelations on the side of the player.
It is believed that the 24-year-old is having second thoughts over whether a move to Villa Park will serve the best interests of his promising career.
As a result, the Villans are preparing to pull the plug on discussions over a deal and move onto other centre-back targets ahead of the February 3 deadline.

Wolves reject Championship bid for midfielder?
Moving across the West Midlands, Wolverhampton Wanderers could be waving goodbye to one of their academy products by the end of the window.
According to the Express & Star, a number of Championship clubs are fighting for the services of 22-year-old midfielder Luke Cundle this month.
The report states that both Bristol City and Swansea City are keen on a move, although fellow second-tier battlers Millwall are currently leading the race.
It is understood that the London-based Lions submitted an initial bid for Cundle, one which was swiftly rejected by the Premier League outfit.
The youngster has enjoyed several loan spells in the second tier over the past few campaigns, including at Plymouth Argyle, Stoke City and Swansea.
It remains to be seen whether Alex Neil‘s men will place another offer on the table for Cundle or decide to move onto securing other targets.
