Tottenham have joined West Ham in the race to sign an emergency forward on loan from Ajax amid their extensive injury issues, according to a report.
This week, Ange Postecoglou announced that Dominic Solanke is set to miss around six weeks of action.
On top of this, Brennan Johnson, Timo Werner and Wilson Odobert join the £65million signing in Spurs’ catalagoue of sidelined attackers.
Tottenham’s absentee list is at a Premier League-high 12 players, which is why they have enquired about Brian Brobbey’s availability at Ajax, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Meanwhile, West Ham are already in direct talks with the Eredivisie club to sign their No 9 on loan, with an obligation to make the deal permanent.
The Hammers need a replacement for Michail Antonio, who suffered a horrific car accident that left him fearing for his life last month.

Graham Potter needs to add depth to his forward line after Michail Antonio’s long-term injury
He required surgery after suffering a broken leg and is expected to be out for months on end.
On December 7, Antonio had to be extracted from his £260,000 Ferrari after careering off the road near Theydon Bois in Essex.
The crash, which occurred in Epping Forest, saw him end up in his passenger seat and he was trapped for more than 45 minutes while fire crews attempted to free him.
Antonio had been driving home from West Ham’s Rush Green training ground ahead of their Premier League match against Wolves when he collided with a tree.
Brobbey would provide both Spurs and West Ham some impressive firepower to their forward lines.
Having joined Ajax’s youth academy in 2010 at eight years old, the 5ft 11in centre forward has scored 52 goals and provided 26 assists in 148 senior appearances.
He debuted for Ajax at 18 years old in October 2020, and was held in high regard by their coach at the time, and former Man United boss, Erik ten Hag.
Last season, he won their Player of the Year award, and has won three pieces of silverware with the Dutch side; the KNVB Cup in 2020-21, and two Eredivisie titles in 2020–21 and 2021–22.

His success at club level has earned him caps for his international side since the age of 14, first appearing in the Netherlands’ U15 squad.
Brobbey received his first call-up for the senior side in October 2023, for two UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying matches against France and Greece.
He was included in Ronald Koeman’s 26-man squad for Euro 2024 last summer and made one appearance in the competition.
