Manuel Lanzini has just made his last start for West Ham United in my opinion, with his outing against Brentford today.
West Ham lost 2-0 to Brentford in west London this afternoon, and David Moyes handed Manuel Lanzini a rare start.

The 30-year-old Argentinian ace signed for West Ham on loan in the summer of 2015, before making his move to the East London outfit a permanent one a year later for around £9 million (The Mirror).
He was a real star for us for the first three years, before he suffered a terrible ACL injury whilst on international duty with Argentina. He has never been the same player since, and recent reports have linked him with a return to his boyhood club River Plate.

Manuel Lanzini has made his last start for West Ham after Brentford shocker
It wasn’t that Lanzini was particularly bad today – he wasn’t very good either – it’s just that with his contract due to expire in the summer, and Moyes clearly not viewing him as a regular starter any more, an exit from the London Stadium this summer seems to be the ideal solution for all parties concerned.
The South American midfielder’s current contract with the Hammers is due to expire next month, but the club have the option to extend that deal by a further two years.
Lanzini earns around £70k-a-week at the London Stadium (Spotrac), so getting his wages off the books will be very helpful heading into the summer transfer window.
Manu has been great for us over the last eight years, but if truth be told he’s just not the same player anymore.
The Hammers have made a bad habit of keeping players well past their sell by date recently. I’m positive we won’t make the same mistake with the 30-year-old Argentinian.
If Manuel Lanzini does leave West Ham this summer, it will be sad to see him go. At the same time though, it will be the correct decision for everyone involved.
