West Ham ace Gianluca Scamacca could be set to leave this summer, with AC Milan monitoring his current situation.
According to a report from Sempre Milan, West Ham hitman Gianluca Scamacca features on AC Milan’s six-man striker wish-list ahead of the summer transfer window.
David Moyes brought the 24-year-old striker to the London Stadium from Sassuolo in the summer of 2022 for around £30 million (Daily Mail).
In fairness to the Italy international though, he was out in Italy recovering from knee surgery. And his struggles with West Ham aren’t all his own fault. David Moyes’s painful tactical setup has prevented Scamacca from flourishing.
And it seems as though he could be heading for the exit door this summer…

Sempre Milan reckon that the 24-year-old Hammers forward is firmly on Milan’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Italian has been out injured over the past couple of months, having undergone knee surgery, but even before then he wasn’t a regular feature for West Ham.
Moyes has handed Scamacca just 928 minutes of action in the Premier League this season, and only 1,342 minutes in total (Transfermarkt).
Bearing that in mind, it wouldn’t surprise me one little bit if the former Sassuolo man is moved on from the London Stadium this summer.
He clearly doesn’t fit into Moyes’s system. However, I feel like it would be a huge mistake from the Hammers to get rid of Scamacca so soon after signing him.
The Italian is a hugely talented footballer, and if Moyes could just set up his team with one eye on getting the best out of the striker, he really could flourish in the claret and blue.
It must be said though, Gianluca Scamacca definitely faces an uncertain future with West Ham ahead of the summer transfer window. And this one will be worth keeping a very close eye on over the next few weeks and months.
