AC Milan are reportedly pushing to make an approach for Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino who is set to leave Anfield at the end of the season.
The long serving Reds striker will play his final game in the Liverpool shirt on Sunday against Southampton following which he will enter free agency amid interest from some of Europe’s top clubs.
According to a report from the Italian news outlet Calciomercato, it is claimed that AC Milan are keeping close tabs on the Brazil international with the San Siro outfit hopeful of launching a bid to secure his signature sooner rather than later.
The Serie A giants are out to bolster their front line after failing to defend the top flight crown this season and with Firmino available on a free transfer, the 31-year-old presents himself as an established name to be considered by his suitors.
Milan have a few Premier League players on their transfer radar ahead of the upcoming summer window with the Italians also chasing Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek who is likely to leave Stamford Bridge soon.
