It’s now clear to see which two under-21 players will be in West Ham United’s first-team squad next season.
West Ham have some exceptionally talented young players currently coming through the ranks at both under-21s and under-18s level.
However, David Moyes clearly rates two of them higher than anyone else.

Divin Mubama and Freddie Potts are the only two youth players currently out training in Portugal with the West Ham squad ahead of the Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina on June 7th.
Mubama and Potts have represented both the under-18s and the under-21s over the past year.
They are now 18 and 19 respectively, and are both ready to really kick on now by making the jump up to the next level.
It must be huge for their confidence that they have been included in the training camp out in the Algarve. Next stop senior football for both of them it seems…

According to Football.London, Mubama and Potts were the only two youngsters included in the first-team squad’s trip out to Portugal.
Now, Mubama is clearly an elite talent, and I think he’ll have a role to play for us next season. Potts is more of a solid operator, but a very good player nonetheless.
If Declan Rice does end up leaving this summer, the West Ham fans will be hoping that the 19-year-old follows a similar trajectory to the one that Dec did four or five years ago.
Whatever happens, West Ham clearly have some stunning young players coming through the ranks at both under-18 and the under-21 level.
And as far as Moyes sees it, Mubama and Potts are the pick of the bunch.
