Report: Moyes linked to Celtic move
Celtic are today being reported as wanting to appoint West Ham boss David Moyes as their new manager with Ange Postecoglou allegedly in the frame to join Tottenham Hotspur.
The Hoops are looking set to lift a treble having already come out victorious in the league and league cup, with another cup final in front of them this weekend .
However, The Scottish Sun are reporting the club believe they could lose Postecoglou to troubled Spurs who are currently looking at candidates for the job in north London.
And it declares that should that prove to be the case Moyes is likely to become one of the favourites to replace him at Parkhead.
The 60 year old Scot looks safe at West Ham should the club win the Europa Conference League and whether a return to Scotland from the Premier League is more than debatable! On the face of it that seems unlikely.
The Scottish Sun declares: “Ange Postecoglou could be confirmed as Tottenham’s new manager as early as next week.
“And Celtic are so resigned to losing the Aussie they have already started looking around for a replacement.
“And they have started drawing up a name of potential replacements, with West Ham’s David Moyes, who began his playing career at the club, a likely front-runner.”
