West Ham are plotting a bold move to sign Edson Alvarez to replace Declan Rice this summer.
According to BILD, Ajax ace Edson Alvarez is a top priority transfer target for West Ham, with Declan Rice set to leave West Ham in the summer transfer window.

Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to sign a top-class central midfielder before the start of next season.
Rice is being heavily linked with a summer transfer to Arsenal.
If that happens, West Ham need to sign an elite player to replace him. And Moyes’s latest transfer target certainly fits into that category…
West Ham now want to sign ‘unstoppable’ 25-year-old for £30 million to replace Rice
BILD reckon that the Hammers are lining up a €35 million (£30 million) move to sign Ajax star Edson Alvarez.
What a stunning signing this would be for West Ham. Alvarez has been described as ‘unstoppable’ by ESPN, and they’re bang on the money there – he’s an absolute powerhouse of a central midfielder.
In 31 Eredivisie outings this season, the 25-year-old bagged three goals and three assists. During those appearances, he averaged 2.3 tackles, 1.2 interceptions and 2.4 clearances per game. He made 77.3 passes on average per game and recorded a mightily impressive completion rate of 88.9% (Who Scored).
The Mexico international is a player destined for the very top. And he seems primed to make the move from the Eredivisie to the Premier League.
The Ajax age is absolutely ideally suited to the English game.
This summer could be his time to step up to the next level and a move to the London Stadium would represent exactly that for him.
And if West Ham sign him for just £30 million as a Declan Rice replacement, I think it would be exceptional business from the club.
