West Ham pushing hard to wrap up deal to sign Leicester forward Harvey Barnes
The Guardian reckon that the Hammers board are set to back David Moyes to the hilt this summer, with a move to sign the Foxes ace right at the top of the Scot’s agenda.
Described as a lightning fast winger, the 25-year-old has absolutely everything that the Hammers currently lack, with pace and power to burn.
Barnes is direct in the way that he plays and always has his opposing full-back on the back foot. The Leicester ace is absolutely rapid, possesses exceptional technique and is strong with both feet.
The 25-year-old bagged 13 goals in 34 Premier League games for Leicester this season – a fantastic return (Transfermarkt).
Harvey Barnes can play anywhere along the front-line, and that kind of versatility will undoubtedly really appeal to West Ham boss David Moyes. It makes his £50 million price-tag seem like better value as well.
I think that Barnes could take us to a whole new level entirely if he does move to the London Stadium.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed that Moyes manages to get this one done.
