There are a number of flair players being touted as potential new Hammers with the one that catches the eye most being Edson Alvarez – a hard tackling defensive centre back who boasts an impressive 71% of tackles won in the Eredivisie. He would become a worthy addition to shore up our defence.
Conor Gallagher is worthy of a mention too, an attacking midfielder who can also score but whether he could fill the Declan Rice shaped hole in our midfield is another matter. Harvey Barnes and James Ward Prowse`s various merits have been discussed at length on CandH and it remains to be seen how serious the club is in acquiring them.
