Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is pushing to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane, according to reports in France.
Kane’s Tottenham contract expires next summer and he is reportedly unwilling to sign a new deal.
Manchester United have been strongly linked in recent months, but a report from The Guardian last week said the Red Devils have already ended their pursuit due to the demands of Daniel Levy.
Another option for Kane is Real Madrid. Unfortunately for him, Los Blancos president Florentino Perez recently confirmed he will not be signing any more players after completing deals to bring in Joselu and Jude Bellingham.
With Madrid and United out of the picture, while Bayern Munich and Chelsea are not expected to pursue the England captain, he is now expected to stay at Spurs.
This is unless PSG make a surprise approach, which could be on the cards if Kylian Mbappe leaves.
Mbappe has confirmed he will not trigger the one-year extension in his contract, meaning he will be able to leave on a free, like Kane, in 2024.

This has left the Parisiens in a very difficult situation. They are hoping to agree a new deal with the French superstar and will look to sell him this summer if they fail to do so.
And if Mbappe leaves, PSG could really ramp up their interest in Kane, with Le Parisien (via the Daily Mail) reporting that the club’s president will spearhead a potential pursuit.
The report claims that Al-Khelaifi has made the signing of the Spurs talisman a ‘priority’.
While the club’s president continues the search for a new boss, he is ‘personally pushing’ to complete the signing, even if he does not know who will be in the dugout next season.
It is also claimed that PSG are interested in signing Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, who will cost north of £100million and is apparently not looking to return to France, where he played for Lille.
Even if Mbappe does stay in the French capital, the signing of Kane would make sense as the 24-year-old Frenchman has always said he prefers to play alongside an out-and-out No. 9.
Kane would reportedly prefer to stay in England as he closes in on Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League goalscoring record.
United would have been the ideal move for him in his bid to break that record and win the first trophy of his career.
Spurs chairman Levy is understandably reluctant to sell to a Premier League rival, however.
