West Ham could now face competition from Arsenal for Leicester star Harvey Barnes this summer.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, West Ham face the nightmare scenario of Arsenal coming in and stealing Harvey Barnes from right under our noses, and to make matters worse, Tottenham are thought to be leading the race for the 25-year-old’s signature.
West Ham have been heavily linked with a move to bring Barnes to the London Stadium this summer.

According to the Guardian, Leicester want £40 million, and that sounds like great value to me. Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to add some pace and power to his front-line and that is exactly what Barnes has to offer.
However, with the Gunners now entering the race for the Leicester ace’s signature, Moyes may well face an impossible task…
Disaster for West Ham as Arsenal reportedly now want to sign ‘sensational’ £40m attacker this summer
The Mail reckon that the Hammers face stiff competition from the Gunners for the 25-year-old’s signature in the summer transfer window.
And that’s a really big blow for us as far as I’m concerned.
Foxes of Leicester have described Barnes as ‘sensational’, and they’re spot on – he really is an elite player.
Barnes is direct in the way that he plays and always has his opposing full-back on the back foot. The Leicester ace is absolutely rapid, possesses exceptional technique and is strong with both feet.
The 25-year-old bagged 13 goals in 34 Premier League games for Leicester this season – a fantastic return (Transfermarkt).
Harvey Barnes can play anywhere along the front-line, and that kind of versatility will undoubtedly really appeal to West Ham boss David Moyes.
However, with Arsenal now in the race for the Leicester star, the Hammers may well face some real disappointment this summer.
