The East London club have been tracking the 20-year-old Valencia ace for a while now, and the powerhouse midfielder allegedly wants to move to the London Stadium this summer.
Hammers manager David Moyes obviously needs to bolster his central midfield ranks, with Declan Rice widely expected to leave the club before the start of next season.
And it seems as though the Scot has someone very specific in mind for the job…
West Ham really keen to sign Yunus Musah, he wants Hammers move
AS reckon that Moyes has a special interest in bringing the United States international to the London Stadium in the summer transfer window.
The Valencia star is an elite player and is now a regular feature for both his club and country.
I genuinely feel like he’d be the perfect replacement for Declan Rice. The Valencia star is so young as well, and will only get better.
Goal have described the 25-capped United States international as ‘phenomenal’, and they’re not wrong, Musah is an elite player in the making.
He has energy, dynamism, pace, power, physicality and athleticism in abundance. In other words, he’s ideally suited to the robust and intense nature of Premier League football, and more importantly, to Moyes’s system.
Estadio Deportivo recently suggested that he could be available for just over £21 million this summer, and for that kind of money, West Ham quite simply have to get a deal done for Yunus Musah.
