Manchester United are reportedly trying to sign West Ham transfer target Rasmus Hojlund this summer.
Corriere di Bergamo (print edition July 4th, page 9) claim that Manchester United ‘will do anything’ to sign Rasmus Hojlund in the summer transfer window.
According to a report from 90Min, Hammers boss David Moyes is keen to sign the 20-year-old forward this summer.
The Atalanta ace is an incredibly talented young player, and he would be a sensational addition to Moyes’s ranks at the London Stadium.
However, it seems like Manchester United could be set to scupper West Ham’s plan to sign Hojlund…
Bad news for West Ham as Manchester United go all out to sign Rasmus Hojlund after rejected bid
Corriere di Bergamo claim that Man United have made a €46 million (£40 million) offer for the young forward, and Atalanta are holding out for closer to €60 million (£51 million).
Hojlund is destined to race the very top of the game. He has pace and power in abundance, possesses terrific movement and is a superb finisher.
He bagged 10 goals and four assists in 34 games for Atalanta last season (Transfermarkt) after joining the Italian outfit from Sturm Graz in the summer of 2022.
Manchester Evening News have labelled the 20-year-old as an ‘elite’ talent.
The 20-year-old stands at 6ft 1in tall and is incredibly powerful considering his tender years. He seems to be tailor made for the Premier League.
I would absolutely love it if Moyes brought the young Denmark international to the London Stadium in the summer transfer window.
However, Manchester United seem to be in pole position to sign Rasmus Hojlund now. And that’s a huge shame for us as far as I’m concerned.
