West Ham could make first signing of the summer within 36 hours with Denis Zakaria London bound
Tuttosport reckon that the Juventus midfielder could be set to join the Hammers by Monday – only 36 hours time!
The Swiss midfielder is certainly not the most exciting of signings that we could make this summer, but he’ll be a decent addition nonetheless.
He has bags of place and power and is extremely athletic. His physical makeup is perfectly suited to the intense speed and robust nature of Premier League football.
However, it is worth highlighting that he is in no way good enough to replace Declan Rice on his own.
Moyes absolutely needs to sign another central midfielder alongside Zakaria if we are to make progress as a team after Dec leaves – a truly top-class one at that.
Denis Zakaria will be a decent signing for West Ham if we manage to get it done this summer – but hardly an inspiring one.
