West Ham United will reportedly have to be quick if we want to sign Jonathan Tah for a bargain fee.
According to a report from Rheinische Post, the €18 million (£15 million) release clause of West Ham target Jonathan Tah expires early next week.

Hammers boss David Moyes will be keen to bolster his central defensive ranks at the London Stadium in the summer transfer window, having lost Craig Dawson to Wolves in January.
Tah is someone who has been on the West Ham radar for quite some time now, and was most recently linked with a move to the London Stadium just week.
And it seems as though the Hammers can now pick him up on the cheap but only if we move quickly…
West Ham must act now as Jonathan Tah release clause caveat emerges
Rheinische Post reckons that Tah’s £15 million release clause expires early next week, so we can assume that they mean Tuesday at the latest.
Moyes cannot allow this unbelievable opportunity to just pass by.
He’d be an exceptional addition for West Ham, there’s no doubting that.
Standing at 6ft 5in tall, the German is physically imposing and is incredibly dominating in the air. Bleacher Report once described him as an ‘outstanding’ defender.
In 33 Bundesliga appearances for Leverkusen this season, Tah averaged 1.2 interceptions and 3.5 clearances per game. He also won an average of 1.7 aerial duels per match (Who Scored).
The German is a superb passer of the football and is very comfortable in possession. This season, he has made 49.4 passes per game on average in the Bundesliga and has recorded a hugely impressive completion rate of 89.1% (Who Scored).
If there is genuinely a chance for West Ham to sign Jonathan Tah for just £15 million, I’m unsure of what the holdup is.
Moyes needs to get this one done now before he misses out on another one of his transfer targets.
