Conflicting report makes big claim about Divock Origi and potential West Ham move
Gazzetta dello Sport claim that it was in fact Origi who knocked back the Hammers, rather than the other way around.
I can’t say I’m too bothered either way with this one to be honest.
Origi is a good striker in my opinion. talkSPORT once described him as a ‘stunning’ forward. However, there are definitely better and certainly a lot younger options out there.
Moyes needs to return to the philosophy that he promised he would bring to the London Stadium – a young and hungry team.
Viktor Gyokeres would have been the perfect summer signing in my opinion, but we’ve already missed out on him.
The likes of Jonathan David and Folarin Balogun are still available though, and I think either of those players would be incredible additions for us.
Divock Origi not joining West Ham this summer is far from bad news. We move on to the next one.
