Chelsea put on red alert for 88-goal striker target Dusan Vlahovic and it’s great news for West Ham over Armando Broja.
Both West Ham and Chelsea are very much in the market for a new striker during the summer transfer window if months of speculation are anything to go by.
Hammers duo Michail Antonio and Gianluca Scamacca both face uncertain futures while new Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino is said to want another forward.
Despite the fact West Ham have European football to offer while Chelsea do not, the Blues – given the vast sums they spend on transfers and wages – will be shopping at a different level of the market.
But one potential deal involving Chelsea could actually benefit West Ham.
Good news from Italy for Pochettino and Moyes
Because Chelsea have been put on red alert for 88-goal striker target Dusan Vlahovic and it’s great news for West Ham over Armando Broja.
Earlier this month Corriere Dello Sport reported that Chelsea are trying to bring Serbian striker Vlahovic to Stamford Bridge.
And TEAMtalk has claimed West Ham have renewed their interest in signing Chelsea striker Broja after chasing him last summer.
So news from Italy today will be of serious interest to both Pochettino and David Moyes.

Because Juventus are now seriously considering selling Vlahovic to Chelsea. And they even have three potential replacements lined up.
That’s according to today’s Gazzetta dello Sport (Page 8) – as also reported by Football Italia.
Juve – who have allegedly been in talks with West Ham to offload Denis Zakaria, who was on loan at Chelsea last season – are now said to be willing to sell Vlahovic to the Blues for between £63-68m.
And that would very much clear the path for Broja to leave with West Ham said to be genuinely interested in the Slough-born Albanian.

“Juventus have put a price tag on Chelsea linked Dusan Vlahovic and are now seriously considering their possible replacement for the striker,” the reports state.

“Chelsea are reportedly interested in picking up the Serbian striker and Juventus would be happy to let him leave for around €75-80m (£63-68m) plus add-ons.
“Juventus are serious about the idea of selling Vlahovic this summer, so have started to identify their top replacements.”
West Ham’s players allegedly begged Moyes to sign powerhouse Broja last summer after he impressed against the Hammers while on loan at Southampton.
He ended up signing a new deal to remain with Chelsea. But a serious injury ended his season.
Now he is back speculation is rife he will depart following the arrival of Christopher Nkunku and with Pochettino chasing Vlahovic.
