Hammers boss David Moyes never got the best out of the 25-year-old at the London Stadium, and clearly doesn’t want the Croatian to be part of his plans next season. The feeling is very much mutual judging by the latest claims.
Torino are offering around £8 million, whilst West Ham want closer to £11 million for Vlasic.
And it seems like the former CSKA Moscow man will try to push through a move away from East London this summer, whatever happens…
Nikola Vlasic has made a demand to West Ham as transfer tussle continues to rumble on
The Croatian has demanded face-to-face talks with Hammers officials in a bid to allow him to move to the Turin club this summer.
I’m sure that the 25-year-old will join Torino in the end – it’s just such a shame that we never got to see the best of him in a claret and blue shirt.
Breaking The Lines have described Vlasic as an ‘outstanding’ player, and on his day he definitely is a very good footballer.
Vlasic is incredibly skilful and has a real eye for a killer pass. However, he has hardly any pace to speak of, and that’s why he was so utterly redundant when playing out on the left wing for West Ham.
During his time with Torino he has played in the number 10 role – his best position – so it’s little wonder why he’s had so much success there.
And it now seems as though we won’t see Nikola Vlasic in a West Ham shirt again, if he gets his own way.
