TRANSFER GOSSIP: All the latest rumours as Chelsea ‘set £40m price’ for Conor Gallagher amid West Ham interest and Manchester United ‘will step up interest in Randal Kolo Muani’

The new Premier League season is rapidly approaching and, with pre-season now in full swing, clubs across the globe are frantically working to improve their squads.

This summer has seen a raft of signings head to Saudi Arabia and no doubt there will be plenty more in the coming weeks, with the likes of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson expected to be two Liverpool players to join the exodus. 

But there’s still been plenty of activity across Europe and the massive £105million addition of Declan Rice to Arsenal could set the dominos in motion. 

The Hammers are looking to sign a replacement and have been quoted £40m by Chelsea for Conor Gallagher.

Andre Onana is on the brink of completing a move to Manchester United from Inter Milan. Onana is set to have his medical today having arrived in the UK last night and the deal will be worth £43m. (Mail Sport)

As previously mentioned, West Ham are interested in a move for Conor Gallagher. The dynamic Chelsea midfielder could slot in as a replacement for his England team-mate Declan Rice, who finally joined Arsenal from the Hammers in a huge £105m switch. And Mauricio Pochettino’s side have named their price for Gallagher, ‘valuing him at £40m’. Inter Miami have already signed Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets, with Luis Suarez also in line to join the MLS side. And Jordi Alba is set to be the fourth ex-Barcelona addition. (Sun)

Manchester United’s pursuit of a striker is a key talking point of the transfer window and the Old Trafford club will turn their attention to Randal Kolo Muani if they are priced out of a move for £86m Rasmus Hojlund. (ESPN)
