Liverpool reportedly want to sign West Ham United transfer target Leon Goretzka from Bayern Munich this summer.

However, the killer for both parties is that Goretzka actually wants to stay with Bayern Munich according to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg.
West Ham were linked with a shock move to sign the German a few days ago.
The 28-year-old Bayern powerhouse is an elite central midfielder, but he has fallen down the pecking order under Thomas Tuchel recently.
So could he really be a target for us this summer? If he is, Hammers boss David Moyes faces two very big problems if he is to bring him to the London Stadium this summer…
West Ham and Liverpool face a major problem in hunt for dream Leon Goretzka signing
Football Transfers reckon that Klopp wants to bring his fellow German to Anfield this summer, whilst Florian Plettenberg states that Goretzka actually doesn’t want to leave Bayern at all.
It seems as though that’s our hopes dead and buried of signing him then!
In all honesty, it never really seemed like a realistic link when the rumour first emerged.
Moyes must now focus on getting a top-class central midfielder to the London Stadium to replace Declan Rice.
There are plenty of options out there, including the likes of Sofyan Amrabat, Khephren Thuram and Ibrahim Sangare.
Hopefully Moyes gets it spot on, because he cannot afford to bring in someone who is anything less than an elite player, if we are to make genuine progress after Rice’s exit.
