Irons identify “dream target”
According to reports coming out of Germany, The Irons have identified their “dream target” to replace Declan Rice – Leon Goretzka
The Bayern Munich box to box midfielder has been valued at anything between £35 and £40 million, depending on who you to listen to.
The 28-year-old Germany international, who still has three years left on his contract at the Allianz Arena, joined Bayern from Schalke 04 in the summer of 2018 and has since made 179 appearances in all competitions, scoring 34 goals and providing 35 assists.
It is understood that the German giants are willing to listen to bids for Goretzka, who fell out of favour towards the end of last season following the arrival of their new head coach Thomas Tuchel.
Should a big-money move for Goretzka to West Ham fail to take place, the Hammers could step up their pursuit of England international Conor Gallagher, as it now appears that talks have entered an advanced stage with Chelsea, who value the midfielder between £21.5m and £30m.
Goretzka is a class act and appears to be far better value than the overpriced Palhina, but and still the wait goes on…
