Sow is a very competent central midfielder, and he showed just how effective he can be during our Europa League semi-final clashes with Eintracht Frankfurt in 2022.
I think he’d be a great addition for us this summer, and it seems as though Hammers boss David Moyes will have a great chance to bring him to the London Stadium…
Djibril Sow insistent on Premier League move as West Ham eye transfer for old nemesis
Frankfurter Rundschau reckon that the Switzerland international has informed his club that he wants to move to England this summer.
Total Football Analysis describe him as ‘excellent’, and for just £7 million West Ham really can’t hesitate to sign him.
With the report claiming that he wants to move to the Premier League, there is absolutely no reason for Moyes not to bring him to the London Stadium this summer.
He bagged four goals in 32 Bundesliga matches this season. During those outings, the 26-year-old averaged 1.3 tackles and one interception per game. Sow made 48.4 passes on average per match and recorded a completion rate of 85.6% (Who Scored).
There will not be any better value to be had in the transfer market than £7 million for Djibril Sow this summer.
Let’s hope that West Ham get this one done with the minimum of fuss.
