How to Watch Aston Villa in the Premier League Summer Series
This weekend sees Aston Villa play the first of their three games of the Premier League Summer Series in the USA. The series of preseason games set up to promote the Premier League stateside. The event also doubles up as a paid-for summer camp for Aston Villa on the league’s tab.
Unai Emery will certainly use the trip to help bed in both his new signings Pau Torres and Youri Tielemans, and Villa fans will get their first insights into how the Villa boss sees his defence shaping up with Torres’ inclusion. The there games also perhaps are an excellent showcase for the likes of Cameron Archer to prove his worth to Emery for the forthcoming season.
In the UK, Sky Sports will be showing Aston Villa’s three games in the Premier League Summer Series in USA and they will not be available on Villa TV. Games will be shown live on Sky Sports Main Event and Premier League channels. If you don’t already have Sky Sports, you can obviously get a day or monthly pass to cover the games.
Meanwhile, in the US, the Premier League’s partner NBC Sports will be the host broadcaster of the Summer Series across the NBC Universal and Peacock networks.

Use a VPN to watch the Premier League Summer Series from outside your country
Of course, there are ways to watch the Premier League Summer Series games from outside your country, if you use a Virtual Private Network (VPN), assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs. A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning the service can’t work out where you are and won’t automatically block the service you’ve paid for. All the info going between is entirely encrypted. A VPN essentially provides privacy for all your internet activity – from browsing to streaming.
Having sponsored the My Old Man Said podcast last season and after using it for several years, MOMS certainly recommends NordVPN, as our go to VPN service.
