PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi ‘is doing all he can to convince Kylian Mbappe to leave this summer’ as the striker hopes to get a free transfer to Real Madrid in 2024
- Mbappe has made it clear that he will not be signing a new contract with PSG
- PSG believe he is waiting to join Real Madrid next year but want him to leave now
- They are reportedly willing to listen to offers for less than what they paid in 2018
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is encouraging Kylian Mbappe to listen to offers that may come in for the forward this summer.
Mbappe’s future has been blown into doubt over the last few days, with the Frenchman stating that he will refuse to sign a new deal at the club, with his contract set to expire next season.
He runs the risk of leaving for free if PSG can’t sell this transfer window, prompting the French champions to put their star man up for sale with immediate effect.
Mbappe has been left out of the club’s squad for their pre-season tour of Japan, but is keen to remain at the club for the duration of this year before moving on next term.
PSG are however desperate for that not to happen, with Al-Khelaifi admitting that he cannot leave for free. And according to Le Parisien, the president is pushing Mbappe to depart this summer.

PSG reportedly believe Mbappe is trying to see out his contract and join Real Madrid next year
It has been reported that PSG may accept offers for much less than the £155million they originally paid for the winger in a desperate attempt to get rid.
The club have been suspect that the 24-year-old has an agreement in place to join Real Madrid next term.
Mbappe has been long linked with Madrid, opting to sign a new contract with PSG rather than join the Spanish side last summer.
But things have been negative since, with the Frenchman regularly speaking out against the hierarchy and threatening to walk away for free when his contract expires.

He has been linked with moves to the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and the Saudi Pro League this summer but all signs point to him holding out for Madrid.
It has also been suggested that the forward could be willing to sit out the whole season if the disagreements continue.
Mbappe came off the bench to score in PSG’s friendly win over La Havre on Friday, but was later left out of the travelling squad.
Thanks to the eye-watering extension he signed to stay with PSG, Mbappe is set to pocket a mammoth loyalty bonus, believed to be in the region of £68m according to El Pais, if he stays with the club for another year.
