Aston Villa could be about to really show up West Ham by signing Sofyan Amrabat
Viola News reckon that the Villans have initiated contact to sign the Fiorentina midfielder this summer, with the Serie A outfit asking for just €30 million (£26 million) for him.
What an unbelievably good deal that will be.
Amrabat proved during the World Cup with Morocco just how good he is.
The 26-year-old is a tenacious tackler, reads the game perfectly and provides a really strong layer of protection for his defenders.
Sofyan Amrabat is incredibly agile and has energy and stamina in abundance. He has been described as ‘world-class’ by Morocco coach Walid Regragui (Fabrizio Romano).
The Moroccan is ideally suited to Premier League football what with its intense speed and physical nature, and will be an absolute bargain for £26 million.
Unfortunately for West Ham though, it seems like Aston Villa are the ones pushing hard to sign him. That’s absolutely baffling as far as I’m concerned and there will be no excuses if we miss out on the Fiorentina ace this summer.
