Kaveh Solhekol has made David Sullivan’s stance on spending perfectly clear amid West Ham United’s transfer window struggles.
As fans know only too well, West Ham are the only club in the Premier League yet to sign a player for their first team in the summer transfer window so far.
With just over two weeks to go until the new season begins, that is cause for serious concern for West Ham supporters.
Particularly given the fact the Hammers struggled WITH the since departed Declan Rice in the side last season.
What has become abundantly clear since the arrival of highly-rated and coveted technical director Tim Steidten at West Ham, is that the German has a very different recruitment philosophy to manager David Moyes.

That has been confirmed by a senior source inside West Ham speaking exclusively to Hammers News on Wednesday.
But many supporters are also pointing the finger of blame at majority owner David Sullivan.
Now Sky Sports’ chief reporter has had his say on the situation.
Kaveh Solhekol makes Sullivan’s stance on spending perfectly clear amid the West Ham transfer window struggles.
Speaking on Sky Sports News on Tuesday afternoon, Solhekol refuted suggestions Sullivan or the West Ham owners have tightened the purse strings.
‘Rice money and more…’
And he revealed the money from the Rice sale is not the only funds at Moyes and Steidten’s disposal this summer.
“When West Ham sold Declan Rice, they always made it clear that all the proceeds from that sale, and more, were going to be re-invested in the squad,”
“So David Moyes was going to be given that money to spend. Of course not all at once because the money they’re getting is in instalments.
“But pretty much all that money he can spend and more. Of course Moyes is looking for reinforcements in midfield…
“It looks like (based on multiple bids being made for as many as six players) West Ham are sticking to their word and they are giving all the proceeds from the sale of Declan Rice and more to David Moyes to reinvest in the squad.”
