Real Betis seem to have set their sights on West Ham ace Pablo Fornals rather than Tottenham midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.
According to a report from Estadio Deportivo, Tottenham are demanding €25 million (£21 million) for Lo Celso and as a result, Betis will try to sign Pablo Fornals from West Ham instead, with the 27-year-old keen to return to Spain in the summer transfer window.

Fornals has been linked with a move to Betis this summer. However, it seems like Hammers boss David Moyes would be able to keep the Spaniard at the London Stadium, with the La Liga outfit switching their attention to Tottenham man Lo Celso.
The former Villarreal man could be deployed in the central midfield role at West Ham this season – a position where I believe he will thrive. The thought of seeing Fornals playing right next to Lucas Paqueta in the middle of the park is a really exciting one.
It seems as though that dream could be over before it started though…

Estadio Deportivo reckon that former Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini has decided to pursue a move for Fornals rather than Lo Celso this summer.
And the West Ham man is apparently keen to return to his homeland.
That’s very bad news indeed for the Hammers as far as I’m concerned. I fully expect Fornals to have his best year in a West Ham shirt this upcoming season, if he stays at the London Stadium of course.
The 27-year-old is far more suited to playing in the middle of the park rather than out on the left wing, and judging by David Moyes’s pre-season selections, that’s exactly what the Scot has planned for Pablo.
We might never get to see Fornals and Paqueta link up together in West Ham’s midfield though. If Real Betis come in with a firm offer and the Hammers ace wants to leave, it will be hard to keep him at the club.
Let’s hope that West Ham make it hard for Real Betis and they end up switching their attention back to Giovani Lo Celso.
