Roma are said to be eyeing up a move for Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin as a potential alternative to West Ham forward Gianluca Scamacca this summer.
According to a report from Corriere dello Sport, Roma now want to sign Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the summer transfer window, in case a deal for West Ham striker Gianluca Scamacca fails to materialise.

Hammers boss David Moyes failed to get the best out of the 24-year-old striker last season, so it won’t be a surprise at all if he leaves.
However, I think selling Scamacca would be a huge mistake and if Moyes’s slightly changed his system, the Italian could be a huge hit at the London Stadium.

West Ham could be saved from Gianluca Scamacca mistake as European giants want £50m Everton star
Corriere dello Sport reckon that Roma boss Jose Mourinho is keen to bring Calvert-Lewin to the Italian capital this summer.
Listen, I really don’t want Scamacca to leave the London Stadium, so Roma signing the Everton forward instead would be a big boost for us in my opinion.
Let’s give the former Sassuolo man one more season to show us all what he’s really capable of. I have to say though, I’m rather skeptical of Roma’s apparent interest in Calvert-Lewin.
Everton reportedly value the 26-year-old at around £50 million (Liverpool Echo).
Roma surely won’t pay that much for the injury prone striker, and apparently want to sign him on loan with an option to buy (Corriere dello Sport).
In my opinion, it would do West Ham a massive favour if Roma sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin from Everton instead of Gianluca Scamacca.
I really feel like the Italian could flourish for the Hammers this season, if given a chance to do so.
