Kylian Mbappe: PSG expecting Real Madrid to make ‘low and INSULTING’ offer for striker after he rejected £259m Al Hilal move
- PSG are unwilling to let Kylian Mbappe leave the club for free when his deal ends
- They have told him to sign a new deal by the end of July or leave this summer
- The French champions expect Real Madrid to table a ‘low and insulting offer’
Paris Saint-Germain are expecting a ‘low and insulting’ offer from Real Madrid for Kylian Mbappe in the coming days.
The Frenchman has 12 months remaining on his contract at Parc de Princes and has informed the Ligue 1 champions that he has no intention of extending his stay at the club.
Club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is unwilling to see his prized asset leave for free next summer, and gave the striker an ultimatum to either sign a new deal by the end of July or accept a transfer now.
He was linked with Saudi Arabia after a world-record £259 million bid from Al-Hilal, but Mbappe refused to entertain the move.
The 24-year-old is believed to be holding out for his dream move to Real Madrid, but the Spanish giants are unable to meet PSG’s steep asking price for the player, which is said to exceed £200m.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid are reportedly expected to table a ‘low and insulting’ offer
RMC Sport claim he French champions are expecting a bid from Los Blancos before the deadline, but that it will be an ‘extremely low and insulting one’.
If Real do not table an offer that pleases PSG, there is a chance that Mbappe could make a shock move to the Premier League after reports that he had entered talks with Liverpool over a loan move.
PSG are desperate to get something for their prized asset and are open to the idea of allowing him to go out on loan next season if it means they will receive a fee.
Jurgen Klopp’s side may have given the Parisians a lifeline with a one-year loan move including a bumper base fee.
Liverpool’s offer benefits all parties involved as it gets Mbappe out of Paris, brings in cash for PSG and allows the ex-Monaco star to complete a move to Madrid next year.
Mbappe entertained talks with Liverpool over a possible transfer before opting to join PSG in 2018 and has always been very complimentary of the Reds.
‘We talked a little bit, but not too much,’ he told the Telegraph last year. ‘We talked a little bit. I talked to Liverpool because it’s the favourite club of my mum, my mum loves Liverpool.
‘I don’t know why, you will have to ask her! It’s a good club and we met them five years ago. When I was in Monaco I met them. It’s a big club.’
