EFL chief – “Good season for the Irons”
The EFL head honcho, Peterborough United owner Darragh MacAnthony has been having his say about all the shenanigans going on at the London Stadium.
Despite manager David Moyes and new technical director Tim Steidten allegedly not seeing eye to eye on new transfers, he believes that the Irons will still have a good season
He was interviewed on talkSPORT and said the following:
“Relationships take time to harness, so I think it’s unfair to say that the relationship maybe won’t work,”
“I think it’s been intimated that there could be a rocky road ahead. Common sense will prevail.
“David Sullivan and Karren Brady run a good ship there, and I think everything will be fine. I think West Ham are actually going to have a good season.”
The issue, however, is that the Irons are running out of time to bring in new players, with a Declan Rice replacement still nowhere to be found
Well, presumably that is at least one thing Moyes and Steidten can agree on.
Let us not forget, we start our new season in 12 days time and things must start speeding up on the transfer front., otherwise we will be on the back foot again
