West Ham need Paqueta deal agent
West Ham may need to call in top agent Barry Silkman to have any hope of bringing in new signings this summer.
The 71 year old counts Manchester City and Queens Park Rangers among his former clubs but is now involved in a number of top moves within the Premier League.
Whitechapel-born “Silky” is known to be close to David Sullivan and was responsible for bringing in the best signing of last summer when he got the Lucas Paqueta deal over the line.
He was called in when manager David Moyes and Rob Newman were in a battle to convince the player to sign but Silkman’s entry sorted the issue quickly with the Brazilian agreeing to join the club a couple of days later at a record Hammers fee.
There could be some resistance to him becoming involved for a second time but he has a good record ay negotiating players into clubs.
