Moyes will be in charge at Bournemouth

West Ham boss David Moyes will be in charge for the start of the season at Bournemouth next weekend.
Claret and Hugh, in the shape of me, had called on the board to sack him after a dreadful performance in Germany today and sent an e mail to the club following the game explaining why we believed that had to be the case.
A 4-0 defeat in the last game ahead of the new season when the team should be reaching a peak – and the manner of the defeat – were the reasons we gave citing the lack of energy and artistry we saw compared to the opposition – a team put together in part by a certain Tim Steidten!
We added that we found it incomprehensible that after losing midfielder Declan Rice and striker Gianluca Scamacca that the manager’s priority signing appeared to be Harry Maguire – a defender.
But whilst a key insider agreed that the team had needed to show us a lot more than they did today he explained that there would be no sacking or decisions on it made until the League season kicks in.
We don’t want anyone to be under the misapprehension that we are afraid to explain our feelings to the board but we were told that the manager would not be judged on defeats in pre season….fair enough I suppose!
The precise quote he gave us was: “Judge him on LEAGUE GAMES, not meaningless pre season games, albeit today was depressing and I accept what you say, that we needed to see more in the last game before the season starts.”
