The summer window so far has been a disaster for the Hammers. There’s no way of dressing it up.
Our Premier League season kicks off in six day’s time, and with the clock ticking, it’s not outside the realms of possibility that we could start the new campaign with a worse squad than we had at the end of last term.

The Hammers could be set to miss out on yet another one of our transfer targets.
Fabrizio Romano claims that the Blues are eyeing up a move to sign £20 million-rated Leeds ace Tyler Adams:
Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bring the 24-year-old American to the London Stadium this summer.
I think that Adams would be a very solid addition to our squad, but let’s be honest here – he’s not fit to lace Declan Rice’s boots.
However that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t do a great job for us.
He has been described as a tenacious tackling, superb all-round midfielder by well-known commentator Sam Matterface (Gameday Podcast, 06:39, 26 November).
In 24 Premier League outings for Leeds last season, Adams averaged 3.7 tackles, 1.5 interceptions and one clearance per game. During those appearances, the 24-year-old made 55.3 passes on average per match and recorded a completion rate of 82.4% (Who Scored).
If Moyes signed the Leeds ace for £20 million alongside another elite central midfielder – someone like Edson Alvarez – then we’ll be in a great position heading into the new season.
However, it seems to be highly unlikely that Adams will be West Ham bound this summer, after Chelsea made contact with one of Moyes’s main transfer targets.
This will be an interesting one to keep a close eye on.
