Fulham want to sell Tosin Adarabioyo to Tottenham Hotspur and get Eric Dier
Premier League rivals Fulham want to sell Tosin Adarabioyo to Tottenham Hotspur this summer and get Eric Dier, according to French journalist Fabrice Hawkins on Twitter.
As things stand, the defender is keen on moving to AS Monaco in the ongoing transfer window. To that end, the English national has already agreed personal terms with the Ligue 1 outfit.
However, the Craven Cottage side seem to have other ideas. They prefer that the centre-back sign for the North London side. Marco Silva has a similar idea and is hoping to recover Dier in the process from Spurs.
Tottenham signed the 29-year-old in the summer of 2014 from Sporting CP. Since then, the England international has been a key player for the North London side under various managers.
However, Dier has been inconsistent at the Lilywhites over the years. While the defender’s versatility is admirable, he has seen various ups and downs in form over the last few months.
Therefore, the English national has not been a reliable centre-back for us. In the previous campaign, Spurs struggled defensively and were unable to keep clean sheets on a regular basis or hold onto leads.
This summer, Tottenham have signed Micky van de Ven from Wolfsburg. The Holland national and Cristian Romero were able to shut out Manchester United in the 2-0 win over the Red Devils at home on 19 August.
Therefore, the North London side have made a prudent addition to the backline. However, Spurs seemingly need more reinforcements in defence, considering Davinson Sanchez and Dier have left a lot to be desired over the years.

Adarabioyo has thrived at Fulham after making his way through the youth ranks at Manchester City. In the previous campaign, the 25-year-old started in 23 matches in the Premier League for the Craven Cottage side. If we are able to get his price down by offering dier in exchange, it would arguably be a decent deal for us.
