It’s crunch time in the Europa Conference League as Aston Villa now have back-to-back games with AZ Alkmaar, the other team that were first fancied alongside Villa to progress from the group. Both teams suffered surprise defeats in their opening games, but after both teams won their opening home games, the group is all level.
Now Villa must take advantage of the group reset and get something in Holland to get a firm foothold in the qualification stakes. in the first of two Europavision shows before the Alkmaar game, MOMS takes stock of Aston Villa’s position and attitude towards the Europa Conference League, as well as look at how the teams in the group are doing in their respective domestic leagues.
