Eberechi Eze is close to signing a new contract with Crystal Palace after reaching an agreement in principle with the club over fresh terms.
The England international, who has returned to full fitness following a hamstring injury, has been locked in talks over an extension for a number of weeks.
And Mail Sport understands a deal is now in place, with just the formalities to be concluded.
Eze has 18 months left on his existing deal, but the extension eases the pressure on Palace over the future of their star forward for the foreseeable future.
The deal is likely to see Eze earn in the region of £100,000-per-week.

Nevertheless, there is likely to be serious interest in Eze from a host of the Premier League’s top sides going into next summer.
Manchester City were close to making a bid for Eze in the previous transfer window, but instead opted to sign Mateus Nunes from Wolves.
Newcastle are also tracking Eze ahead of next summer, while Tottenham also have a long term interest in the 25-year-old.
There is set to be significant interest in Eze again ahead of the 2024/25 season, particular if it emerges that any clauses allowing his release if certain criteria are met have been included in the deal.
But, for now, Eze’s pending contract will end any notion of Eze leaving in January in what is a significant piece of business for Palace.
