“This game coming up is no different for me than any other. It’s another game I’m looking to perform in and win the game. We’re in a really good place. We know the environment we’re going to go into on Thursday. It’s no secret and we need to be ready for that. It’s going to be a challenging game and one that we’re looking to win,” says Anthony Gordon. [Echo via NUFC TV]
Tifo Football did a great look at Everton’s point deduction and their potential takeover suitors.
“We had a meeting about it [points deduction] as a group on what’s gone on and what we were going to do about it, and we all decided to not let it affect us. If anything, it’s fuelled us more. We know we have minus-10 points, but we’ve just taken it on – especially on Saturday because that’s a massive three points away from home. We have to keep going and forget about it, and just concentrate on us, taking it a game at a time. We know this period of the season is vital. There are a lot of games around Christmas so we have to keep going as a team,” says Dwight McNeil. [EFC]
Robbie Earle and Robbie Mustoe have heaped loads of praise on James Garner and his performance this past weekend.
