As is what always happens after a bad defeat at Chelsea and an inconsistent run of games and tough period, talk of the manager being sacked comes to the forefront amongst fans and the media.
This is largely because of the pressures of managing a club like Chelsea and how they need to be a top club and have success, but also, they have made a habit of hiring and firing managers under the former ownership, and now under the current ownership.
EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea’s owner WANTS to sign Victor Osimhen and WANTS to bring in a new striker ASAP!
Mauricio Pochettino is only on a two-year contract but he was always reported as being here for the project and for the long-term. But things are not going great after 15 games in.
Even still, sacking a manager at this stage would just be digressive and shouldn’t be considered.
But former Chelsea player Craig Burley believes Pochettino has until March to get things better and climb back up the table, otherwise they will pull the plug on him.
Craig Burley: “If #Chelsea are a country mile off the Top Four come, I don’t know, March, the ownership might look and say, have we made a mistake again [in hiring Mauricio Pochettino]?”
