Manchester City transfer target Eberechi Eze has shared a picture of himself with Phil Foden on a fishing trip.
The two England internationals are clearly pretty close off the pitch and it could help the Premier League champions win the race for Eze’s signature this summer.
Fans on X are all saying that Foden should use his connection with Eze to persuade him to make the switch to the Etihad:

Eze has been tipped as a replacement for Alvarez
With Julian Alvarez set to seal his £82m switch to Atletico Madrid very soon, it is expected that the Cityzens will sign a replacement for the Argentinian international before the transfer window shuts.
Both Eze and Wolves winger Pedro Neto have been touted as options in the media, although there have been suggestions that manager Pep Guardiola is more resistant to bringing in a new player.
City will have competition for the midfielder
It is believed that the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and Newcastle are also contemplating bids for Eze, who impressed whilst playing for Palace last season.
Interested clubs already know how much he will cost. The 25-year-old reportedly has a release clause in his contract which was worth up to £65m including add-ons.
