Leon Goretzka’s 2024 has not been kind to him. First, missing out on Germany’s EURO 2024 team, and now Bayern Munich are actively pushing him out. German news outlet Bild put out a survey asking fans if what the Rekordmeister is doing is correct. Over 70,000 answered, and here are the results:
Over 70,000 fans were polled by BILD about Leon Goretzka’s exclusion. 59% said it was not the right decision by the club, while 41% said that Goretzka no longer has a future at Bayern and it was the right decision.

The simple takeaway here is that some people are still oblivious to the fact that it’s a matter of principle now. It is also a case of someone not taking a hint as Goretzka himself was told that he isn’t wanted anymore yet still chooses to fight a battle that he is currently losing. How is he supposed to prove himself if he isn’t even going to be given a chance?
Look, whether people think Goretzka is still fit for Bayern or not is a different story, but the bottom line is that he is not part of Vincent Kompany’s plans and he should be able to realize that. It’s time to go. Take a hint, and move on.
